Gotcha Day 2012

Wow how time flies! I can't believe it has been a year since this spirited little girl has come into our lives. Everyday is a new adventure in our household.  Daria has come such a long way from the scared baby that we brought home.  She has made so many strides and we are so proud of all the things she has accomplished.  She loves music and she loves to dance.  She is a master at puzzles, loves to play on the iPad, play musical instruments,  go outside to play, and wrestle with her brothers.  She still knows how to throw a good fit but they are getting better.  I think they also have a lot to do with the terrible twos.  She is very opinionated! She knows what she wants and No One is changing her mind.  For her Gotcha Day we went to Build-A-Bear.  I was picking out this cute Hello Kitty and she totally ignored it and went for a little leopard.  There was no changing her mind, she had found her friend and was not backing down!
We also rode the carousel at the mall.  She loved her horse and did not want to get off.  We had to leave the mall soon after because she was mad and letting everyone in the mall know about it. We left there and went to the park and had a picnic.  We let everyone play for awhile and then we were on our way home.  She was exhausted and went to sleep in the car.  I think she had a great day! I know the boys did because they got to skip school! Here are some pictures of our day.

Summer Fun

So sorry I haven't updated the blog sooner.  WOW how the time has flown!  Our GOTCHA DAY is Thursday so I thought I would take some time to update and tell about our summer.    The end of May, Brantley graduated from high school and  we are so proud of him.  He graduated with honers and will be attending the University of Alabama!  Roll Tide.  Brody and Landon both made all-stars.  So many of you know that means we spent most of June and July at the ballpark.

We finally made it to the beach in July. My dad and Fran, Brantley's friend Casey and our nephew Dallas all came with us to the beach. We had a really good time and the beach was beautiful.  Daria enjoyed the beach toward the end of the trip but was just not a huge fan.  We hope next year she will enjoy it more!
Here are some pictures from the beach!
